Customer Testimonial
I wanted to do something special for my 30th birthday. After researching online I found your site, booked a host and selected the Hollywood game. The host made the night run very easily and it was a great theme for guests to get into. The instructions were very clear and the game ran for two to three hours. The guests loved it and I would definitely do one again.

FAQ
How many people do I need for a murder mystery game?
Boxed games are for 9 to 60 or 61 to 120 people.
Downloadable games are for 1 to 15, 16 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 120, 120 to 300 or 301 to 600 people.
Can I make it a surprise party?
We generally don’t recommend keeping a murder mystery party as a complete surprise. While you’re free to run your event however you like, guests tend to enjoy the experience more when they know what to expect. Because murder mystery parties are interactive and often involve dressing up, giving people advance notice helps build excitement and participation.
If you’re planning a surprise birthday party, it’s best to bring in the murder mystery host after the surprise has taken place. Once the surprise happens, there is usually 30–45 minutes of meet and greet while the guest of the moment greets everyone. This makes it difficult to start the game straight away. For example, if the surprise is at 7:00pm, have your host arrive around 7:30pm so they can set up and begin once things settle.
If the host arrives before the surprise, they may be left waiting with little to do. Similarly, for workplace events, it’s better not to surprise your colleagues—letting them know in advance will lead to a more engaged and enjoyable experience.

- Guest work in teams or groups and never on their own.
- For groups larger than 80 people you really need them seated in teams at a table.
- For groups larger than 80 and especially larger than 120 you need a very large roving microphone.
How do you run a murder mystery for a large group?
