Customer Testimonial
The games are great, I ordered both a box and an online version. Our host Robyn was fantastic and kept a bunch of 16 years olds entertained for 3 hours (best money I have ever spent LOL) and everything ran smoothly. I think having a host was the key. Bronwyn Kennedy

FAQ
How many people do I need for a murder mystery game?
Boxed games are for 9 to 60 or 61 to 120 people.
Downloadable games are for 1 to 15, 16 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 120, 120 to 300 or 301 to 600 people.
How long does a murder mystery party take?
A typical murder mystery party lasts between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the game format, number of players, and how quickly guests engage with the mystery. Smaller groups often finish closer to 2 hours, while larger groups may take up to 3 hours as more players interact and share clues.
Do my guests have to act?
Absolutely not! No acting experience is required. Players can participate at their own comfort level. If the murder mystery places participants in groups this is even better. The more gregarious players can take the spotlight while the more reserved players can share clues or sleuth away in the background.
How do you assign characters in a murder mystery game?
We recommend that you don't assign characters until the night of the event. This means that if people are sick at the last minute then the game will not be affected. You can give people suggestions as to the type of character they are e.g. come as a surgeon, dress as a hippie. This way they are dressed generically and can suit a wide range of characters. It is best to let your host put people into groups and assign characters on the night.
What if I have an odd number of guests or last-minute dropouts?
Our games are super flexible and allow characters to be removed or reassigned easily so the game can continue even if a player drops out. You will never need to worry about last minute cancellations.
Can the host play too?
Yes!
Our games come with a step by step run sheet that guides you through every part of the game. The murderer is only identified in the full story so you can keep the game spoiler free until everyone finds out.
How much will the whole murder mystery party cost?
You receive 2 to 3 hours of entertainment for half the price of hiring a karaoke machine.
You should factor in these costs:
- The cost of your murder mystery game.
- The cost of your murder mystery host.
- The cost of your venue.
- The cost of food and drink.
- The cost of decorations.
Are the games suitable for work functions?
Yes. Murder mystery games are popular for Dayton corporate events because they encourage communication, teamwork, and participation.
